This is the first time in 70 posts that I've not posted an ad. I started this the same way I did the other two Kodak ads I made a few weeks ago. I found a picture and started to write what I saw. The idea is to force myself to write 1,000 words on one photo. Well, after about a paragraph I started writing this story and I decided to stick with it. I had fun, it was challenging to complete and it is 1,006 words, so I decided that it was okay that it wasn't an ad.

Valley Lanes

To complete the nonstop nostalgic thrill ride that is the Valley Cinema Pub, patrons are subject to those prehistoric slideshow like ads. (I guess they still run them in new theaters, but all I can think of is that cursed "twenty" and how I always fail to catch "it".) Anyway the ads are all local and all pretty much worthless, so I decided to try my hand at a few. My wife thinks there is too much copy for a slide, to which I say" there can never be too much copy!" plus the ads are usually shown a few times.
